Good to know
What is a "customs line"?
Customs lists goods by type. Three identical T-shirts are one line; a T-shirt and a phone case are two. The €3 duty and the €2 handling fee are charged per line, so mixed baskets cost more.
Why doesn't the €3 apply to my €200 order?
The flat €3 duty only covers consignments worth €150 or less (goods value, excluding shipping). Above that, normal customs duty applies — a percentage that depends on the product and where it was made.
Do I get the fees back if I return the item?
The €2 handling fee is not refundable, even for refused or returned parcels. Refunds of the €3 duty follow general customs refund rules.
Is "unknown" a bug?
No. This tool only uses official figures. When a rule isn't confirmed by an official source (or you haven't entered a duty rate), it says "unknown" instead of guessing.
